What are POD groups?

POD groups are the container to help BCCC participate in deeper relationships and growth that come from “the 3.”

The purpose of POD groups is found in its DNA

Discipleship - We practice and grow in the WAY of Jesus, not just learning his WORDS and WORKS.

Nurture - These relationships provide the PRIMARY CARE of BCCC and although are the first responders to any encouragement, ministry, and prayer needed, they also are an avenue of communication for further support (Pastor, prayer chain, congregational care, etc.)

Accountability - Although we want to be attentive to any hurtful practice that moves you further from the WAY of Jesus, the accountability is more focused around “the gym partner” keeping you accountable in exercising practices.

PODs AREN’T traditional Small groups, Life groups, Bible studies, or accountability groups

1. PODs create a disciple making CULTURE not discipleship courses or training. Discipleship happens “out there” in real life.

2.  Following Jesus isn’t a informational course, rather it is a journey that involves movement.

3.  Coaching happens in community.

Do you have your three?

Bible Study

"The purpose of Bible study is to collectively grasp an understanding of God through His Word.

These groups become small communities often sharing this personal journey to discovering the meaning of the passage."
