We were blessed to have young men from Teen Challenge speak in church this week and share their testimonies. Their stores were a beautiful reminder of God's restoring power, lives transformed and grace beyone measure. Continue to pray for Teen Challenge and the ministry they have.
We have heard back from Hands At Work and have confirmed dates for a trip to Zambia next September! September 11-23, mark it on your calendars! It's exciting to start working towards that time.
As such we would like to have another gathering for those who are interested in travelling with Hands to visit Racecourse and see what is happening there. We will discuss the dates planned, a general itinerary, approximat...
Baptisms and BBQ's are how we like welcome everyone back after the summer. The church spent Sunday afternoon at the Zimmerman's house following the church service. It is always a special time when one of our younger ones is baptized and prayed over by the church family.
Last night we had a great evening with Kristal Hoff from Hands at Work at the Thompson's house. We were able to hear a bit more about our supported community in Zambia and the continued needs of Careworkers and Hands volunteers throughout Africa. And for those who are not aware, we are planning on sending a team from our church next September 2016 on a missions trip with Hands at Work. More information is coming soon!
**We arrived safely here into Chiang Mai. Our flight from Beijing to Chiang Mai was delayed by about 2 hours as there was a long line of planes waiting to leave. This made our arrival into Chiang Mia quit late, we arrived at our guest house around 2am. Praise the Lord though we had no difficulties with immigration and collected all of our many bags with no problems!
If you have ever watched the Kids Worship dancers perform you know how adorable and touching these kids can be. We are blessed to have young teens put these dances together and instruct our young ones as they worship with dance.
Classes will take place every other Sunday, following the service, from 12:30-1:30pm. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a bagged lunch/snack and water.
Again, thank you to everyone who invested the time to fill out the survey this past year. We will be sharing the results and conversation coming from the survey shortly.

VBS was a huge success this week! The folks who organized, taught, built snacks, designed crafts, did potty breaks, got soaked in water at games, and just generally loved on the kids were amazing. Many kids were blessed and I was glad to see many repeat kids who attend from the community. We need to be thankful for the amazing gifts of the folks involved and also pray that seeds were sewn!
